SCI’s operating revenue stood at Rs 1,339 crore, down nearly 8% from Rs 1,451 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal. Segment revenue
— Liner: Revenue stood at Rs 213 crore in Q2FY26, up from Rs 201 crore in Q1FY26 and Rs 298 crore in Q2FY25.
— Bulk carrier: Revenue stood at Rs 201 crore in Q2FY26, up from Rs 133 crore in Q1FY26 and Rs 214 crore in Q2FY25.
– Tanker: Revenue was Rs 858 crore in Q2FY26 versus Rs 913 crore in Q1FY26 and Rs 885 crore in Q2FY25.
– Technical and Offshore: Revenue stood at Rs 74 crore in Q2FY26, up from Rs 72 crore in Q1FY26 and Rs 70 crore in Q2FY25.
Total expenses reported by the company stood at Rs 1,235 crore, compared to Rs 1,107 crore in Q1FY26 and Rs 1,195 crore in Q2FY25. The expenses were made under the headings ‘Costs of services provided’, ‘Personnel costs’ and financing costs.
Shares of SCI ended in the green today, rising 2.1% to close at Rs 265.95 on the NSE. The PSU stock has been in great form over the past six months, delivering returns of Rs 57%, against over 4% and 3% returns of Nifty and the BSE Sensex respectively.
