Sheffield Wednesday and Hull City were linked with Manchester United midfielder Toby Collyer before his loan move to West Brom in the summer.

Collyer, 21, was brought in by the Baggies to strengthen their options in the middle of the park. He was given the green light to leave Manchester United temporarily to gain some experience.

The England youth international has been at Old Trafford since his move to the North West in 2022. Prior to his transfer, he rose through the ranks of Brighton and Hove Albion’s youth academy.
He was a regular for the Seagulls at various youth levels. The Worthing native has made 13 appearances for the Red Devils first team so far, all under Ruben Amorim last season.
