Dane Sweeny has picked up his third consecutive title to continue his undefeated start of the new pro tour season.

Dane Sweeny has maintained his flawless start of the Australian Pro Tour season 2025/26 and claims his third consecutive title in Tamworth.
In the meantime, Taylah Preston had an impressive week in Wagga Wagga, where she went on to the final of the ladies singles.
The 24-year-old Sweeny gathered from a set to beat fellow countryman Marc Polmans 2-6 6-4 6-3 in the Tamworth final, who extended his perfect record to 14 straight competitions.
The continued his purple patch in the past six weeks, in which he won his 21 of his last 22 games and four of the five tournaments. The New South Welshman won both pro tour events in Brisbane in August and claimed an ITF M25 title in Taipei City last month.

The inaugural Pro Tour Tournament in Tamworth was a welcome return to Form for Polmans, who, since the Cairns International, went to his first singles final in October 2024.
In the men’s doubles, Joshua Charlton and Calum Puttergill attach the silverware after they prevailed at the Delaney – Jake and Jesse brothers – in the play -off of the championship.
Charlton claimed his fourth Doubles title of the year, while Puttergill won his first Doubleskroon since the Wuxi publisher in China in May 2024.
In Wagga Wagga, Preston participated in the singles crown of the ladies against Brit Katie Swan. The number 2 seed was brave in Land New South Wales and bounced back from a set in two of her five games.
Elena Micic and Belle Thompson also performed a good fight in Wagga Wagga. The couple only dropped three games in their opening of two games before taking a victory over the match treak to reach the final.
Micic and Thompson were a successful match treak away from winning the title against the Japanese duo, Haruna Arakawa and Ayumi Miyamoto.
The Pro Tour will take place this week in both Tamworth and Wagga Wagga.
Elsewhere, Matthew Romios won his sixth ATP Challenger title of 2025, together with the American Ryan Seggerman to win in Guangzhou, China. He climbed seven places in the latest ATP Rankings -Update, moved to World No.73.
After winning her first ITF-feminine title last week in Kayeri, Turkey, 18-year-old Alanana Subasic was again victorious in the Turkish city.
Subasic went through all week without dropping a set, including a 6-3 6-1 victory in the final against French wife Dune Vaissaud.
