The In Range filly out of Special Interest finished the year with seven wins, four second places and earnings of $678,159. She won the $150,000 Next Generation and two legs of the Ohio Sires Stakes en route to winning the $300,000 OSS Scarlet Championship.
Marcus Melander’s trainee placed second in the $400,000 Kentucky Championship Series Final and the $700,000 Breeders Crown. Her season-best score of 1:53.1 came in the first leg of the Kentucky Championship Series at The Red Mile on July 30. Setyoursightshigh, bred by Kentuckiana Farms, is owned by Heights Stable, Mantorp LLC, AMG Stable, K Kjellgren and Livs AB Inc.
Ranked second in earnings among all 2-year-old trotters, she will also be honored as the 2-year-old trotting filly of the year at the 2025 Dan Patch Awards banquet. Setyoursightshigh will be honored at the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association Annual Awards Banquet on January 10, 2026 at the Renaissance Columbus-Westerville in Westerville, Ohio.
The 2025 Ohio Horse of the Year will be announced during the awards banquet.
