Seth Rogan is back as ‘Will’ for the second season of the HIT Apple TV+ Comedy, Platonic, but although his relationship on the screen with the character of Rose Byne, ‘Sylvia’ offers a lot of laughter, there is also a serious element for mental health in the plot. Rogan sits down with M&F and explains why meaningful connections and hard work in order not to isolate ourselves are essential for a longer, happier life – even if that includes sharing a beer or two with friends.

Mainly known for his comedy, Rogan took on his honest part of action scenes during a career that plays the Green Hornet and performing most of his own stunts in Pineapple Express But instead of hiring a personal trainer or martial expert for his role such as Will in Platonic, Rogan has learned instead of a bona fide brewmeester to play a separate beermaker who co-exports a bar with his friends and is looking for a more fulfilling company with his best Gal Pal. “It is very complicated,” Rogan tells M&F of developing the perfect Bewi ski. “Far outside my grip. I could probably shoot a gun better,” he jokes.

Seth Rogan has learned that physical health now requires a balance 43, this television and film star has been around for more than 25 years around the FADs of Hollywood Fitness, but he has come to the conclusion that taking care of his health requires a balanced approach instead of a non -durable lifestyle. “I don’t eat much sugar in general,” the star shares. “I think, for me, (it is) something that I usually think is the fastest, when I eat a lot of dessert. But yes, I think everything is in moderation. The older I get, the more I realize that I should generally eat healthy, so that I can eat unhealthy now and then and not at the end.”

‘Platonic’ season 2 emphasizes the health benefits of real friendships

Platonic, Season 2, continues the evolving relationship between Will and Sylvia, two best friends from their youth, who are reunited as complicated adults. In the show, Will recovers from a divorce, while Sylvia feels stranded as a mother at home. Instead of teasing romance, however, it is companionship that they both crave.

Loneliness is rarely the basis for comedy, and yet some of the moments that these characters share, and the platonic chemistry shown between Rogan and Byrne while they go from one unfortunate adventure to the other, reminds us that people are really social beings. The World Health Organization states that social connections are linked to “improved health and reduced risk of early death” and Studies also show That lonely people are considerably more likely to suffer from dementia, and also from an earlier age.

Reducing suffering associated with dementia is a subject that is very close to the heart of Seth Rogan. He also addressed the hilarity for charity Initiative with wife, Lauren, to take care of families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and to finance research and education of bean health. Rogan is very aware of the relationship between a lack of meaningful connections and negative results of mental health care.

“Especially in today’s world with technology, it is very easy to isolate yourself and it is very easy to feel that you have some kind of meaningful connections with people who are literally not even real people,” says the star. “Someone just told us that someone they know is essentially in a relationship with an AI -Chat -Bot, and they are just in their apartment, like chatting with an AI -Bot all day. And I think and to go into the world and do things.”

He adds: “I think it is ambitious, in some respects, even as a dysfunctional like Will and Sylvia’s friendship, they really do many things together, and they let a very active, involved life together, you know? And I think there is something very fun and exciting.”

Rogan argues for those who push yourself outside your comfort zone, just like Will, to pick the benefits of making those meaningful connections. “I am lucky because my lifestyle keeps me out of the house a lot. It keeps me doing many things,” he acknowledges. “But I see people who can easily fall into the pattern of doing something like never. And it is very easy to fall into it. So I think you should pull yourself out on it, or you will pull the gravity in it, do you know?”

In Platonic, Social situations often run around a few beers, so what kind of beer would Rogan achieve in real life? “I don’t like IPAs. Period. End of Story,” he reveals M&F In a shocking contrast with his character that his brewmaster would have new connections searched. “I think I prefer a beer,” he explains. “I don’t need crazy flavors in my beer,” the comedian adds and notes that he is not a fan of overly complicated brews. Instead, ‘a nice golden bigger’ is something that Seth Rogan would enjoy with friends … in moderation of course.

The second season with 10 episodes of Platonic premieres worldwide Apple TV+ On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, with the first two episodes, followed by a new episode weekly until 1 October.
