The Scotland U21 Women’s team has been announced for the World Juniors in Santiago, Chile, in December.
The Scots achieved qualification for the Women’s Junior World Championships for the first time since 2005, with a sensational gold medal success at the U21 EuroHockey Championship II in Konya last year. A great achievement, and now in Chile they take their place among the best teams in the world.
Scotland will take to the field in Santiago for pool matches against Spain on Tuesday, December 2 at 9pm; Thursday, December 4 at 4:30 PM against Canada; and Saturday, December 6 at 4:30 PM against Australia.
The Netherlands is also present at the World Junior Championships for women; Japan; Chile; Malaysia; Argentina; Belgium; Zimbabwe; Wales; Germany; India; Ireland; Namibia; England; South Africa; China; Austria; United States; Korea; New Zealand; and Uruguay.
