SBICAP Securities appoints Bhuvaneshwari A. as Managing Director & CEO

SBICAP Securities, a group company of the State Bank of India (SBI), has appointed Bhuvaneshwari A. as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer with effect from November 1. Bhuvaneshwari has a post-graduate degree in Public Administration and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers and a Certified Financial Planner.She is a seasoned SBI veteran with over thirty years of experience and has a strong track record of driving transformation, innovation and inclusive growth across the banking ecosystem.

She began her career as a probation officer in 1994 and has held diverse and impactful positions within the organization. She is known for building inclusive, high-performing teams and delivering customer-centric transformation across retail banking, wealth management and digital.

At the SBI Corporate Center she was General Manager – Redesign Studio. Most recently, as Chief General Manager of SBI’s Thiruvananthapuram Circle, she oversaw over 1,200 branches, driving strong growth in retail loans, deposits and market share.

Commenting on her new role, Bhuvaneshwari termed her appointment to head SBICAP as a pivotal moment.
