This salmon recipe with tomato olive-friendly sauce can be perfectly cooked in the air fryer, on the grill, or even on a stove-top grill pan! And I love this recipe with an easy tomato and olive groups that improves the taste of the salmon.

This Salmon recipe with tomato olive groups Is absolutely delicious; I hope you can see that of the photo! The recipe started years ago with sun -dried tomato, olive, caper and parsley (and if someone was a fan of that recipe, you can find the printer -friendly recipe on that link.) But over the years I stopped using the high carbon -dried tomatoes and replaced them with a darker tomatoes in the government.

And although I am a fan of grilled salmon, nowadays I often make easier air frounce salm instead. So when it was time to update the photos for this recipe, it evolved into the delicious air frituurzalm recipe that you see here, served with a delicious sauce with fresh tomatoes, Kalamata olives (or black olives), green onion, capers and Parsley.

How to make the salmon recipe with tomato olive groups:

  1. Start by having the fish come to room temperature while you are heated in front of the grill.
  2. Heat air fryse for 400F/200C if your Air Fryer recommends this.
  3. Rub salmon with olive oil and season Seged Fish Rub (affiliated link).
  4. Chop tomatoes, olives, green onion and parsley and measure the capers.
  5. I used my Food machine (Affiliate link) to cut the urish ingredients together, but you could chop this by hand.
  6. Put tomatoes, olives, green onion, capers and parsley in the food processor and process in short pulses, about 8 times.
  7. Then add lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper and process until ingredients are just as finely chopped as you want.
  8. Enjoy a bowl or large measuring cup.
  9. To cook salmon on the grill or on one Hob grill pan (affiliated link), place fish at an angle and cook until you see grill tracks when you lift the angle.
  10. Then turn the fish so that it is in a corner in the other direction and cook until you have criss-cross grill signs.
  11. Carefully turn the fish and cook until it is hardly firm on the second side.
  12. For air frituse, turn the air fryse to 400F/200C if you are not yet preheating.
  13. Put salmon pieces in the air frituse basket. I can do four pieces in my Cuisinart Convection Air frituse toaster oven (Affiliate link), what a reason is why I love it so much.
  14. Cook for 6 minutes and then check for doneness by pressing a finger on the fish.
  15. It should hardly feel sturdy, but not difficult when it is ready. (Thicker pieces of fish can take a minute or two longer to cook.)
  16. Serve the salmon hot, with tomatoes olive groups that scoop over the fish.

  • 2 t chopped green onion

  • 2 t Capers

  • 2 t chopped parsley (or more)

  • 2 1/2 T fresh lemon juice (see nuts)

  • 5 T Extra Virgin olive oil

  • Sea salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  2. Heat for the air frye for 400F/200C if your air fryer recommends this.
  3. Then rub both sides of the salmon with olive oil and season with a generous amount Seged Fish Rub (affiliated link). I like this fish so much that I buy it in packages of six on Amazom.com and give it to friends, but use all the fish you prefer.
  4. Chop the tomatoes, olives, green onion and parsley and measure the capers.
  5. I used my Food machine (Affiliate link) to cut the urish ingredients together, but we agreed that you could chop this by hand.
  6. Start by placing tomatoes, olives, green onion, capers and parsley in the food processor. And process in short pulses, about 8 times.
  7. Then add lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper and process until ingredients are just as finely chopped as you want. (This was less than 30 seconds for me.)
  8. Transfer the sauce to a bowl or large measuring cup.
  9. To cook salmon on the grill or on a grill pan of a stove, place your fish in a corner and cook until you see grill tracks when you lift the angle of one piece, about 3 minutes.
  10. Then turn the fish so that it is in a corner in the other direction and cook 3 minutes more on the same side (until you have Criss-Cross Grill markings.)
  11. Carefully turn the fish and cook until it is hardly firm on the second side. (The cooking time is no more than 10 minutes, depending on how thick the salmon is and how done you prefer your fish.)
  12. For air frituse, turn the air fryse to 400F/200C if you are not yet preheating.
  13. Put salmon pieces in the air frituse basket. I can do four pieces in my Cuisinart Convection Air frituse toaster oven (Affiliate link), what a reason is why I love it so much.
  14. Cook the fish for 6 minutes and then check for doneness by pressing a finger on the fish. It should hardly feel sturdy, but not difficult when it is ready. (Thicker pieces of fish can take a minute or two longer to cook.)
  15. Serve the grilled or air fryer’s salm, with a generous amount of the tomato olive roll over the fish.

Notes

I love Seged Fish Rub (affiliated link), but use each type of fish herbs that you prefer. I used my Frisenbreens lemon juice. This taste will keep in the fridge for a few days, and I think it would be good on other types of fish, grilled chicken or grilled pork carbonades.
