Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski once again convincingly reminded us why they think they are the team to beat at the 2025 Nitto ATP Finals on Friday evening in Turin.
The fifth seeds completed a flawless 3-0 sweep of the John McEnroe Group with a 7-5, 6-3 win over already-eliminated Americans Christian Harrison and Evan King. Salisbury and Skupski make their team debut at the prestigious season finale and remain the only undefeated duo in the field heading into Saturday’s semifinals.

Their 72-minute victory also extended Salisbury’s personal streak at the Nitto ATP Finals to 13 matches, following back-to-back titles with Rajeev Ram in 2022-2023. The Brits are now level with Harrison and King at 2-2 in their Lexus ATP Head2Head series.
Although Salisbury and Skupski are yet to lift a trophy this season, they have reached five finals – including Roland Garros and the US Open – and will be confident going into Saturday’s all-British semi-final against top prospects Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool. They have only surrendered one set on their way to the last four.
Harrison and King were hoping to become the first all-American duo to claim a victory at the event since Mike Bryan and Jack Sock captured the title in 2018. But they were surpassed by Salisbury and Skupski, whose sharp volley and dominant serve kept them from facing a single break point, according to Infosys ATP Stats.
