NEW DELHI: Indian badminton icon Saina Nehwal and Danish ace Peter Gade will headline The Legends’ Vision – Legacy Tour India, a global initiative aimed at promoting the sport through community activities, youth development programs and local collaborations. The Legacy Tour returns to India after eight years and will take place from November 23 to 24 at the Siri Fort Sports Complex in New Delhi.“I’m excited to bring The Legends’ Vision back to my home country,” said Saina, a London Olympics bronze medalist who joins Olympic champion Carolina Marin as one of the newest Legends linked to the platform.“Badminton has given me everything in life, and it is always special to return to the court in a way that inspires young players.”The opening day on November 23 will feature interactive junior exhibitions with Saina, Gade and Legends’ Vision Ambassadors, followed by the official launch of A Racquet’s Second Life in India.“This program has always been about giving back to the global badminton community, and I am proud that the message continues to grow,” said Gade, the 1999 All England champion.On the second day, November 24, outreach activities will take place in Delhi-NCR, where fans will get a chance to meet Saina and Gade.
