The Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) National Board approved the provisional agreement with the Video games negotiation group.

The contract on conditions for the interactive media agreement will now be submitted to membership for ratification.

The new contract achieves important guardrails and profit around AI, including the requirement of informed permission for various AI applications and the possibility for artists to suspend informed permission for the use of digital replica during a strike.

If ratified, the Agreement would result in a compound increasing the compensation of the operator at a speed of 15.17% after ratification plus extra 3% increases in November 2025, November 2026 and November 2027.
