In what was invoiced as a collision of peoples, the India’s U-17 women’s football team delivered a composed and commander version to achieve their second consecutive victory over the Saff U-17 Women’s Championship 2025 when she defeated Bangladesh with the Changlimithang Stadium in the Changlimithuang Stadium on Friday.

Pearl Fernandes (14 ‘) and Bonifilia Shullai (76’) were the scorers for India, who led 1-0 during the break. The victory also consolidated the most important place of India in the group. They have six points with two wins from two games.

The second half followed a similar rhythm, in which India possessed dictated and Bangladesh deeply defended. Although the chances became rarer, India never looked at danger.

But India was not ready. In the 76th minute they hit a set piece. Alisha Lyngdoh curled in a corner from the right and found replacement Bonifilia Shullai unmarked. Shullai positioned himself perfectly and led the ball in the net with her right leg and doubled India’s benefit.

The remaining minutes were managed with maturity. India delayed the game, held shape and denied Bangladesh every late revival to take three points home.
