Ryan Lochte’s ex-wife hinted that “betrayal” played a role in her split with the retired swimmer, but the new girlfriend of Lochte has nothing of it.
Kayla Rae Reid, the alienated woman of Lochte, made suspicions about what caused the split of the couple after writing: “Sometimes God allows the betrayal … because it leads to the breakthrough”, in a June 27 Instagram Post.
But Molly Gillihan, who became officially with Lochte during the holiday weekend on Instagram, has the back of her new boyfriend.
“It’s okay to be so happy that your heart can explode from your chest and you want to scream it from the rooftops,” wrote Gillihan on her private Instagram account, According to TMZ Sports. “If you have felt it, you know that this is true.
“We would not be here if we had anything to hide or if there was a betrayal that took place on the way. This little Goofball came patiently, sincerely and honestly in my life. I choose him. ♥ ️ @ryanlocht.”
Lochte made his relationship with Gillihan officer in one Instagram -post of the fourth July -weekendHer tagging in a slide show that he subtitled: “Daytona Beach Weekend!”
The message contains several photos of Lochte and Gillihan merged and celebrating the holiday with other members of Lochte’s family.
Locht and Reid, a 34-year-old broker and former Playboy model, split last month after seven years of marriage.
The couple have three children together: An 8-year-old son called Ciden Zaneand daughters Liv Rae5, and Georgia June1.
In Reid’s Instagram post of 27 June she also wrote: “Most people have no idea what I have endured. Ignore their opinions. Truth always reveals itself.
“Divorce is not the end of my story. It is the start of my rebirth.”
Lochte, 40, is a 12-time Olympic medal winner and the third most detailed Olympic swimmer of all time when measured by the total number of medals.
A specialist in the individual medley and backstroke, he has won six Olympic gold medals.
