Russia hit four Ukrainian cities with hundreds of drones, including the residence of Volodymyr Zenskyy, and injured at least 15 people in an attack that was mainly focused on energy infrastructure.
The last bombing on Tuesday evening, local time, occurred on a Deadline of 2 September set by US President Donald Trump for Russian President Vladimir Putin to reach a peace agreement in the three -year war.
Moscow is confronted with the possibility of serious sanctions in Washington if that is not the case.
No public has yet been set for a possible third round of direct peace talks between delegations from Russia and Ukraine.
Two previous rounds did not make any progress apart from prisoners.
Russia launched 400 Shahed and Decoy drones, as well as one ballistic rocket, at night, said the Ukrainian Air Force.
The strikes focused on Noordoost-Kharkiv, the second largest city of Ukraine, President Volodyymyr Zelensky’s birthplace Kryvyi Rih in Central Ukraine, Vinnytsia in the West and Odesa in the south.
Power was cut for 80,000 families in Kryvyi RIH and other locations in the Dnipropetrovsk region, said the largest private energy company in Ukraine DTEK on the Telegram app.
The Air Force said it had shot most drones, but that 12 goals were hit by 57 drones and the rocket.
“Russia does not change his strategy,” said Mr. Zenskyy.
“To effectively combat this fear, we need a systemic reinforcement of the defense: more air defense, more interceptors and more solving so that Russia feels our reaction.”

Mr. Trump promised on Monday to deliver more weapons to Ukraine, including Vital Patriot Air Defense Systems, and threatened to hit extra sanctions against Russia.
It was Mr. Trump’s most difficult attitude towards Russian President Vladimir Putin since he returned to the White House almost six months ago.
But some American politicians and European government officials expressed doubts that the 50 -day deadline gave Mr Putin the opportunity to conquer more Ukrainian territory before a regulation to end the fighting.
Other American ultimatums to Mr Putin in recent months have not persuaded the Russian leader to stop his invasion of neighboring Ukraine.
Tens of thousands of soldiers were killed in the war, many of them along the more than 1,000 kilometers of front line, and Russian fighters of cities have killed more than 12,000 Ukrainian civilians, says the United Nations.
