Warm weather you might make it time to dump the equipment away, but to be honest we have found a few summer must-haves that are worth staying around.

This month our tester crew received some fun, useful things that work just as well for sweaty runs as for weekend trips.

Tried something that we have characterized? We want to hear about it! Your feedback keeps these tests going and gives us ideas for what we should then view.

Nathan Pinnacle Pro 6 Liter Hydration Race Vest

The Nathan Pinnacle Pro Hydration Race Vest is a great addition to the Nathan Hydration Vest -Line -Up, which adds a 6L option to run the cardigan lightweight and easy.

The most important characteristic that I immediately noticed in this vest is the lightweight, because the fabric and the feeling of the vest felt considerably lighter and breathable from the moment I took it out of the box. This is really a nice deviation from other vests that I have worn, which can feel close, heavy and almost more as a traditional school backpack versus a piece of running equipment.

The Pinnacle Pro 6L has a lot of gear storage, including an upper back pocket with two compartments, a soil reading pocket, two side sides, two bottle compartments and a zip bag for the front. The front bag was a bit too small to hold my phone when the water bottles were full at the front, so I thought this bag was better for keys, cards and/or gels. The bags on the side and back are great for filling extra layers in the winter or other equipment that you might need on your run, and there are also bunge cords at the top and bottom that poles can protect when you are on the paths.

The vest comes in Unisex and the size of women, and I received a Unisex XS that fits the degree of size for me. I loved the slider on the chest to secure the vest in place and the fast fit system when applying the vest.

There are two bottles of water in addition to the accessible compartment for a 2L bladder in the back – I think this will be a matter of personal preference, but I found them easy to fill and use them and they made the long straws easily accessible on the run. My only complaint is that the straws were a little long on my shorter frame, which may not be a problem for those who are less petite than me!

All in all I really liked this vest and I think it will be one in heavy rotation for my long runs and walks throughout the year. I thought it was great how soft and foldable the mesh body is and how seamless it is to load and put on the package.

Spibal

The weather is warming up and the outdoor activities are in full swing! I had to try the Spibelt for a few different foreign times and really loved this no-bounce belt.

I have tried different styles of belt; The original walker belt, the whiteout and the monochromatic. The former two have a wider band, but all three have the same pocket.

These style tires were perfect for short runs where I did not have to wear gels or hydration support. I tried to wear my phone, a few gels and some saltstick chewing, and if you packed it just right, it was easy to grab what you needed!

I have to say, even with all these items inside, the belt did not move!SpibalI even used the belts while I with my children on different cycles. I didn’t want to wear my whole bag, but needed my keys, credit card and telephone. This was a super cute alternative to a crossbody bag.

I preferred the original running belt and the whiteout with the wider band, just because I liked the extra support, but every belt was great options for short runs and fast trips.

I would look at one of their other belts if you have to wear more than the supplies, but based on the performance of the three I tried, I would expect great things!

Orgain creatine monohydrate

I have heard a lot of buzz about creatine lately. Coach Amanda spoke about the Advantages of creatine for runnersBut I was a bit overwhelmed about the options. So I was really enthusiastic to try this from Orgain.

I have often used the protein powder from Orgain and have always been impressed by their quality, ingredients and price.

I tried this in a few different ways, but mostly in my hot coffee in the morning, or an ice -cold Nuun in the afternoon. The gemronized creatine mixes so well! I notice it a bit more in a cold drink, but hardly, you just have to stir or shake a little more. And there is absolutely no taste, so you can really put it in something.Creatine OrganinJust a super easy, tasty way to get the benefits of creatine. Every first of this has 5 g creatin monohydrate and nothing else, No additives, fillers or preservatives. It is also gluten and soy row, non-gmo and vegan.

I can honestly say that it has helped my performance and recovery. I just finished a training cycle for a half marathon and saw remarkable differences in Doms, current passes and strength increases. In general, I definitely intend to keep this part of my daily supplements.

CIELE W FSTTIGHT SHORT 7 ″

I am forever looking for shorts who really work for Curvier runners – and let me tell you, it’s a challenge. Most couples start to drive after the first step and I finally spend the entire run adjustment. Not this one.

They sat down, felt great and honest? Solid 10/10 from me.

I usually stay with black (because, well, sweat), but I gave the deco rose color a shot and it is really nice and personal. That said, the lighter color certainly shows every drop of sweat. It dried quickly, but after the run a coffee shop walk in … let’s say I got a few looks.

The FSTTIGHT Short is packed with bags … that I love. There are two larger freight bags and a corn chain on both hips. The Daisy chain becomes perfect when you have to store your shirt or fuel, and the load bags fit easily in an iPhone Plus of Space left.CIELE W FSTTIGHT SHORTThe Coolmatic -Plus Klosfit ™ Interlock -knitted fabric with anti -odor finish was perfect on the days that I had to go shopping after the run. I didn’t walk around Super Smelly, what I think people appreciated.

The Ciele website recommends going a size because it is a closer fit, but I went with my typical medium and they fit perfectly.

Bolle Foods for sunglasses

In Colorado, sunglasses are not just a summer thing; They are essential all year round. I am always looking for a lightweight pair that I can take on my way out the door, whether I am on my way, a ride or a walk.

The Bollé Victus Pro is light, remains placed and has a few smart functions that I didn’t know I needed, such as the small recesses at the top of the lenses. Sounds strange, but they actually help to stop fog when things warm up. No more mid-run lens wipe away? I assume it.

The volt+ high contrast lenses ensure that everything just looks sharper and more colorful, they claim that it increases the color by 30%, and I believe it. Moreover, you get a better depth perception and blind control thanks to the polarization, which is useful if you are on technical paths or in the mountains.Bolle Foods forIf you are someone who wears glasses but no contacts, you can make them specifically for your prescribed needs!

All Bollé products are ECO designed with more than 20% recycled or bio-based materials.

  • 82-12% visible light transition (category 0-3 lens)

  • 4 different lens-types fantoom, high contrast polarized, SLF and SLF polarized

  • Available in 8 colors

  • VIDEO -DEMO

  • Available at Bolle.com for $ 140- $ 240
