The famous 20-year-old Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) Batsman Swastik Chikara has unveiled his private chat with Virat Kohli, which he had during his Stint in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
Swastik Chikara revealed that Virat Kohli clearly told him that he would never play as a ‘impact player’ in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and that he would continue to play as a lion.

Chikara, born on April 3, 2005 in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, gained fame and popularity during his first stint with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in IPL 2025.

He was bought by the IPL 2025 champions on the Mega auction for Inr 30 Lakh, which was his basic price. There were phone calls to record him during the season in the season, but he was held on the couch and was happy to help his teammates when needed in beverage breaks.
Although he did not play matches, he became incredibly popular and received a lot of attention, mainly because of his visible admiration for Virat Kohli.
In the viral clips for social media he was usually spotted around Kohli and it was seen that he showed his excitement in the same camp as the India legend. His fascinating personality saw his Instagram followers shoot up to 1 million in no time.
In the meantime, in a recent interview with Revportz journalist Rohit Juglan, he was asked if Kohli retired during IPL 2025 because he said goodbye to cricket halfway through the tournament.
“Mere hisab se cough nahi soch rahe de aisa woh (virat kohli). (I think he was not thinking of something like that),” said Swastik Chikara then asked if Virat Kohli thought of retirement during the Indian premier competition (IPL) 2025.

Swastik Chikara revealed that during one of his interactions with Kohli the legendary Batsman told him that he will never play as an impact player in IPL and prefers to play for 20 overs alongside Batting. He said:
