ONE Championship has confirmed that Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon and Takeru “Natural Born Krusher” Segawa will battle for the ONE Interim Flyweight Kickboxing World Title in the main event of A Samurai 1 on Wednesday, April 29 at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
The inaugural ONE Samurai event launches a new monthly series built to showcase Japan’s elite martial artists on the biggest stage in the world, and there’s no bigger opener than this.
Their first meeting on ONE 172 in March 2025 lasted just 80 seconds. Rodtang landed a devastating left hook that dropped Takeru and the dream match almost ended before it began. The sudden, violent ending left fans craving a definitive final chapter – and now they have one.
Rodtang enters this rematch with a promotion record of 17-2 and a career mark of 274-43, having cemented himself as one of the most feared and ruthless strikers in the world.
