The competition’s all-time list includes only the Real Madrid legend Alfredo di Stefano (37 years, 255 days), Real Betis icon Joaquin (38 years, 140 days) and that of Granada Jorge Molina (39 years, 241 days) were older when they achieved this feat.

Lewandowski started the 2025–26 season sidelined with injury and later missed extra time after a controversial setback during October’s international break with Poland kept him out of El Clasico.
