Mahvash steps into Hindi films with ‘Tedhi Hai Par Meri Hai’
The influencer, known for her prank videos, motivational content and strong online following, has signed her first feature film – a romantic comedy titled ‘Tedhi Hai Par Meri Hai’ – which has created a buzz among fans.
The film was recently announced on social media and was immediately popular due to both Mahvash’s vast digital reach and curiosity about her personal life following persistent Chahal rumors. The project marks her transition from short entertainment to mainstream cinema.
The film is supported by a strong creative team. Presented by celebrated choreographer-director Remo D’Souza‘Tedhi Hai Par Meri Hai’ is directed by Jayshree Pradhan and will feature music composed by the National Award winner Ismail Darbarbest known for his critically acclaimed scores in ‘Devdas’ and ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.’
The makers promise a fresh, quirky twist on romance, focusing on imperfect characters who find love in unexpected ways.

One of the biggest talking points is the casting: Mahvash will be opposite Jitendra Kumarthe hugely popular actor behind the much-loved Sachiv Ji from Amazon Prime’s hit series ‘Panchayat’.
The announcement video introduces their characters – Gulab (Kumar) and Nagma (Mahvash) – and teases a love story full of humor, imperfections and emotional surprises. Fans have responded enthusiastically to the unconventional pairing, noting that both actors bring distinct personalities that could make for compelling on-screen chemistry.

Mahvash’s Bollywood debut comes at a time when her name is often associated with Yuzvendra Chahal, especially after his divorce earlier this year. The rumors escalated when Mahvash was spotted at IPL venues during Chahal’s matches, and the two exchanged friendly messages on social media.

Chahal publicly praised Mahvash during her OTT performance in ‘Pyaar Paisa Profit’ and cited her progress “Something to be proud of,” which further fueled speculation.
Last week, Chahal also took to Instagram and surprised his followers with an unexpected post suggesting that he is ready to get married again. His caption stated that he was looking for a partner to tie the knot with. ‘The marriage is ready hoon bas ladki chaiye,’ which translates to “I’m ready for marriage, I just need a good girl.”
Chahal divorced choreographer Dhanashree Verma in March this year after receiving a mutual consent decree from the Mumbai Family Court. They announced a divorce in mid-2022 over issues such as career conflicts and different living arrangements, with Chahal paying ₹4.75 crore alimony as per the court’s order.
