46 Victoria ST, Rippleside, is on the market for $ 2.9 million to $ 3.15 million.

A Geelong interior designer is preparing to say goodbye to her family’s beloved house after almost two decades of her ideal baysside Sanctuary.

She celebrates her love for premium natural materials in the wrinkle house with four bedrooms, where a renovation of a Covid era offered a new chance for a contemporary makeover.

A striking Castlemaine-Lei function Wall over the stairwell with a double height is the center of the renewed two-storey residence that the seller describes as “20 years in the making”.

She says that while she was happy with the original 18-year-old house, designed by Projekt Evolve as a Knockdown-Herbouw project at 46 Victoria ST, Rippleside, it was time to remove a few internal walls and to update the kitchen, laundry and joinery.

Of course she hunted some of her favorite finishes, including solid Blackbutt floors and marble bank sheets.

“I am a strong supporter of natural materials such as stone and marble and solid wood soil – everything that brings in that natural element,” says the seller. “Everything you touch and feel here is quite high-end because I think it’s generation, so it will take.”

Nowhere is this clearer than in the open kitchen and the dining room in the heart of the entry level where home chefs have a series of Miele cooking equipment, a Liebherr refrigerator, zip tap and discreet Bora-downdragde hob at their disposal.

Steenwerk and floating wood tiffs turn the stairwell into an important function.

The kitchen has marble bank sheets and solid Blackbutt floors.

Hydronic heating and evaporation cooling are installed everywhere.

Other small luxury are less obvious the Sonos audio system with several rooms in five zones, CCTV network and a WiFi-Intenscheld Voor Door Intercom system.

A series of flexible living spaces includes an elegant preliminary lounge, home cinema with a projector system and a quiet library that nominates the supplier as one of her favorite rooms.

“I have my Art Deco chairs that I have lifted again three times and there is an atmosphere in the books that surround you, it is a very quiet space,” she says.

A covered terrace of the dining room is the go-to for outside entertainment and borders a courtyard with Castlemaine Slate Crazy Paving.

Every small detail is considered, up to the pole for the covered deck.

A discreet projector is part of the provisions of the home cinema in this living room.

The study has room for several workstations.

“We absolutely love our Castlemaine Slate,” says the seller. “I think it’s the center of our house, because we took it outside from the facade and then we brought it to the house and also to the back place, so it’s a bit of a transition.”

A triple garage with a store accessible via Edward St at the rear is another valued function, although those who want to minimize the use of the car can take advantage of the nearby train station in Noord -Geelong and Bayside Walking Trails, just 150 meters from the front door.

The seller says that the location has been fantastic if she travels to her showroom in South Melbourne for most days, something like the sale asked.

“If I could pick it up and move the Melbourne, I would do that,” she says.

McGrath, Geelong -agent Jasmine Dressovic deals with the sale of 46 Victoria ST, Rippleside, which is mentioned with $ 2.9 million to $ 3.15 million prize.
