When Seunghan debuted with Riize in 2023 on the K-pop scene, the boys’ band got up because he had shared himself by a mix of unfiltered social media aesthetics mixed with a clearly polished pop sound. After a back and forth, Exit goes out of the group and Rebrand as XNGhan, the 21-year-old recaptured the same authenticity he asked early in his career for his comeback as a solo artist with his new dance project Xnghan & Xoul.

A crew consisting of Xnghan with dancers Kyohong and Yul, the trio debuted with Don’t waste time On Thursday 31 July with two numbers in the title track and “Heavenly Blue”. For the first time, the trio saw a preview of the euphoric dance pop sound of the plate in an intro video that was released on July 23, in which Xnghan’s Knack emphasizes for airy falsetto notes. The actual video introduces XNGhan who only dances, but soon sees Kyohong and Yul with him as the visual cuts of a flashy, choreographed rain scene to Lo-Fi Hangout clips.

“Waste No Time” is the official debut single of Xnghan & Xoul that takes a similar bright synth-pop sound, but gives a larger mainstream appetite for a repetitive choir built around double kick bass drum effects. In the midst of experimental pace shifts, Xnghan lets his impressive falsetto fly again, while the song Peppy Messing, Trap Beats and Shout-Along hymns to raise its allure for listeners beyond the dance-pop audience.

In the accompanying music video, Xnghan and Xoul come together to perform and to live their best life. The direction of the visual does a particularly great work and emphasizes some of the benefits that a rare K-pop trio shows, because each member can be recorded in action photos such as when they run an off-road go-kart or walk through a herd of goats. Another highlight comes in how the boys can playfully dance with each other in a garage, with their movements that come true more realistic and more recognizable than, say, a large K-pop group or a group of backup dancers, who would not match the relaxed nature of the visual.

In addition to his music and visuals, Xnghan also does not shy away from more challenging questions or he recognizes his former bandmen-a refreshing moment for authenticity in the sometimes knotted K-pop world.

“I know that Riize is doing so well and that I am rooting as a colleague artist for them,” He told The Hollywood Reporter When asked if he hoped for his members. “I hope they stay healthy and good. [Since]

I am also prepared for my new launch as a soloist, I hope people will keep an eye on [for my debut]. I’m really going to pour my heart and soul into this. “

Just like the message “Waste no time” to want to grab the moment and move forward without fear, XNGhan has a positive attitude to look ahead in his new start and encourage others to do the same, to call this solo debut “a new beginning for me”.

“I hope everyone can view me from a new perspective,” he added Thr. “I only hope that when fans look at my performance and see me perform live, they get so excited and happy. They can’t help but dance. That is what I want the fans to see me as. If I stand on stage, I want to be remembered as an artist who just set the stage on fire and nails every performance.”

Whether you knew him as Seunghan, the SM entertainment trainee or to get to know him today as XNGhan, XNGhan & Xoul below officially meets the video clip “Waste No Time”.
