“The show’s return is a testament to its local and international success and the high-quality talent involved, both in front and behind the camera.

“We are immensely proud of bringing quality Australian stories to the world stage and have further taken the production to the next level with intricate new costumes and sets that take audiences even deeper into the adrenaline-pumping world of The cunning evader.

Jack is back! The Artful Dodger returns and he’s in big trouble. He has an appointment with the noose, he is hunted by Inspector Boxer, the new police officer of Port Victory, and when he sees the woman he loves, Lady Belle, he is hanged.

Meanwhile, Lady Belle is determined to shape her future in medicine, defying the odds and stepping into danger, driven by ambition and a love already at stake.

While Boxer competes with Jack for Belle’s affections, the devious Fagin drags Dodger into their most dangerous heist yet, and a killer is on the loose. Get ready for an explosive season of new characters and locations with more suspense, humor, heart, ingenuity and deception than ever.

A romantic scene in which a man and a woman look intently into each other's eyes, set in a softly lit interior. The woman wears a red blouse with intricate details, while the man is dressed in a blue vest over a white shirt, creating a dramatic contrast. This image captures a moment of emotional connection between the characters.

A man dressed in Victorian-style attire, with a red top hat and round glasses, thoughtfully holds a monocle over his eye as he stands next to a decorative curtain in a park setting.

Two individuals in period costumes were having a conversation outdoors. One woman, wearing a pink Victorian dress with lace details, holds a decorative parasol and laughs heartily. The other, in a white shirt with ruffles on the sleeves, seems to be showing her something. The lush greenery in the background enhances the historic setting.

Three men in period costumes, with one man looking sad while being held back by two others, in a dramatic, dimly lit setting. The scene suggests tension and conflict, probably from a historical or theatrical context.

Filmed in Sydney, Australia, The Artful Dodger Season 2 is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television’s Curio Pictures. The second season is supported by the NSW State Government through Screen NSW’s Made in NSW Fund. Post, digital and visual effects were also supported by Screen NSW.
