Evan Marquez continues to make its way through the political minefield known as the American High School.

Season two of FX’s “English teacher” follows “Evan Marquez” (Brian Jordan Alvarez) while he stays away through the political Mijnveld that is known as the American High School. Back with Evan – although not always by his side – his best friend “Gwen” (Stephanie Koenig), gym teacher “Markie” (Sean Patton), Wild Card Guidance Counselor “Rick” (Carmen Christopher) and constantly terrified “Head of Moretti” (Enrico Colantoni).
It is not surprising that Evan still refuses to remain silent when controversy occurs at Morrison-Hensley High. This season, the gang is in the sights of issues, including climate change, COVID, military recruitment and the use of students.
Evan is also struggling to keep his relationship with “Malcolm” (Jordan Firstman) separate from his working life. Although Malcolm no longer works at Morrison-Hensley, Evan’s excessive justice at school takes an increasing toll on his romantic life.
