Artistic Flair elevates the contemporary style of this striking residence in one of the most appreciated streets of Elsternwick.
The sellers, Adam Nissen and his wife Miriam Bereson, bought the St Georges RD house in 2019.
“It was completely stripped, but the layout, especially with the expired atrium in the guts, meant that the building had the potential to breathe,” says Bereson.
The pair coordinated renovations and ended the work a week before the first Lockdown of Melbourne.
The layout of the house has checked all the boxes for her family, says Bereson and offered the perfect bones for the extensive renovations.
“There was a whole children’s quarter with a shared ensuite, far enough away from our retreat and yet close enough when my son had to wake me in two into the two
The morning with a abdominal pain, “says Bereson.

A house in Elsternwick will go under the hammer.
The building has $ 1.9 million- $ 2.09 million price manual.
The house has a unique and artistic style.
The carefully planned living zones are suitable for both entertaining and daily life, with dramatically high ceilings and open open fireplaces that add both WOW factor and heat.
“The entire house is coherent. Every room has its unique quality,” says Bereson.
A striking internal garden light good, complete with a water feature and a guest room with daring functions, also contributes to the unique, artistic style of the house.
“Funny enough, the ladies’ toilet has been a winner for everyone,” says Bereson.
“The only existing material was the stone couch. I designed around it. It was a refuge for everyone.”
The house with three bedrooms uses its orientation to embrace the natural light, something that Bereson and her family love.
“Apart from the storage space under the stairs, each room expresses a magic light,” she says.

“It is beautiful in the winter when the western light is low and seeps through the dining room.
“I often take my phone to take pictures of how seductive the light is on my objects, flowers and while cutting my vegetables.
“Morning Light is embraced in my bathroom and when I come down in the morning. The southern light of the Atrium sheds light everywhere, all day long and painted white ricochets the northern light.”
Together with natural light, the atrium and the layout of the house around it promote the air flow and ventilation throughout the house.
“When the rear window is open and the Atrium is open, everything is broadcast – we have called it the lungs of our house,” says Bereson.
“The same for above. Although you don’t see this, it’s a very fresh environment.”
Biggin Scott Elsternwick’s Bill Stavrakis has mentioned the house for auction with a $ 1.9 million- $ 2.09 million price guide on September 21 at noon.
