Record Newcastle United Revenue have now been officially unveiled.
Eddie Howe has been the key to push the club to success.
The sparkle of the United Head Coach has a team on the way to the championship, to a trophy that competes for Champions League.
This reversal on the field helps bring this record income from Newcastle United to the club.
The true size of this has been unveiled by the outgoing CEO of Newcastle United.
Darren Eales explains:
“In terms of income, we went from £ 140 million in 2021 to the coming season (2025/26). Because we are in the Champions League, it will be good north of £ 400 million.”
The turnover in Newcastle United comes from three sources – commercial income, income from MatchDay and TV/media income. The turnover figures do not contain money from selling players.
This is the six -year story of the income of Newcastle United:
£ 140.2 million turnover for the 2020/21 season.
£ 180.0 million turnover for the 2021/22 season.
£ 250.3 million turnover for the 2022/23 season.
£ 320.3 million turnover for the 2023/24 season.
£ ??? M turnover for the 2024/25 season.
£ 400 million+ turnover for the 2025/26 season.
The financial year for the 2024/25 season had a year at the end of 30 June 2025. We will know those figures for a while, the next Deloitte Football Rich List with the clubs in world football with the highest turnover/income, usually comes from January.
The turnover of £ 320.3 million in 2023/24 was of course a Champions League season, as is the case with this current campaign 2025/26.
Last season (2024/25) had no Champions League income, so it is still to see how United did without them. Winning the Carabao Cup will have helped, both with direct cash that is earned as an indirect of extra retail trade, etc., but not in the same competition financially as the benefits of Champions League participation.
The ticket prices have risen rapidly, as well as the number of members of the Newcastle United, the club that also increases the range of hospitality places at competitions, while the income in many other areas will undoubtedly be last season and especially in this.
So I think we will still see very healthy Newcastle United income for the last (2024/25) season, but then go to a completely different level when we are ultimately the exact 2025/26 turnover.
Darren Eales, contradicts Newcastle United TV:
“In terms of income, we went from £ 140 million in 2021 to the coming season (2025/26). Because we are in the Champions League, it will be good north of £ 400 million.
“So that is a compound annual growth rate of 24% that is unprecedented in world football.
“I think we have stopped all the way again, thanks to the great partners in Adidas.
“With Stack we clearly had to buy the country, build and make a community active, not only on competition days, but during the week it had a real impact.
“On the field, two Wembley Finals is great, but the second that Liverpool defeated and won that cup, the first trophy for more than 50 years was incredible.
“Thank you to Eddie Howe, the coaching staff and the players for offering some of the most intense and entertaining football I have seen. It was a privilege to work with you and view you, week in and week out.
“Thank you to David Hopkinson for taking over the CEO role with enthusiasm.
“I look forward to seeing NUFC continuing with his exciting upward process among your stewardship.
“Thanks to the property for your vision and support for the club as a whole …”
