Real estate agency shortlisted for educating investors about Australia’s commercial hotspot – realestate.com.au

A commercial real estate agency is known for educating investors and the wider public about the opportunities and challenges of commercial real estate in Western Sydney.

The team of RWC Western Sydney has worked hard over the past year to position itself as one of the leading voices in commercial real estate in the region, becoming a trusted resource for investors, developers and governments.

Western Sydney is a commercial real estate hotspot, driven by rapid population growth, major infrastructure spending and improved transport links that have attracted widespread industrial and commercial real estate investment.

It’s one of the reasons why RWC Western Sydney has been shortlisted as a finalist for this year’s Commercial Agency of the Year Award. REA Excellence Awards.

Peter Vinescommercial real estate broker and director at RWC Western Sydney, said they invested heavily in research that they shared for free with investors and the public to help them make better decisions.

“We have commissioned in-depth research into the Western Sydney market across asset classes,” he said.

“We provide research across industrial, commercial, retail, residential blocks, childcare, housing and more, which we are incredibly proud of.

“We get a lot of calls from large institutional landowners and other investors saying, ‘These reports are so valuable to us.’

“The basis for every decision must come from information, so the more information we can provide to customers, the better decisions they can make.”

According to the agency, this comes as the western Sydney commercial property market enters 2026 with renewed stability and a continued focus on fundamentals.

Mr Vines said there are opportunities in the region, but there are also challenges.

“Construction costs are still a major issue when it comes to delivering new homes and commercial properties,” he said.

“But I think there’s a really good opportunity in terms of existing stock, through refurbishing and repurposing, so it’s about using assets harder to get a better return on them.”

The completion of the Western Sydney International Airport at Badgerys Creek, due to open later this year, will also significantly boost the local economy.

In addition to their research, the agency has also made great strides in marketing and customer service in 2025, Mr. Vines said.

He said he was incredibly proud of being nominated for the agency’s award.

“As a company, we continually strive to improve and excel so that we can add more value to our customers,” he says.

“So to be recognized for the hard work we have done on our systems, processes and team culture is a small victory because it is a very competitive sector.

“Being recognized, even as a finalist, is important to us.”

The winners of this year’s REA Excellence Awards will be announced on February 11, 2026.
