In boxing newslast weekend, Anthony Joshua, 36, (29-4, 26 Kos) defeated Jake Paul, 28, (12-2, 7 Kos) by sixth-round knockout on December 19, 2025 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. Joshua knocked Paul down several times before stopping Paul and breaking his jaw in two places. Since Tyron Woodley made his rap debut in 2018 with the song “I’ll beat yo ass,” Woodley has lost five MMA fights and three boxing fights without a win. Celebrity and former kickboxing world champion, Andrew Tate, 39, lost a close fight to actor/former college football player Chase DeMoor, 29in an MFB heavyweight title fight on Saturday, December 20, 2025 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The fight was disappointing to watch from a technical standpoint, with Tate winning the first two rounds and then being out of the ring for 10 years, ultimately losing the rest of the fight with constant clinching and poor punching technique in this brawl.

Pound for poundster, Naoya Inoue, 32, (31-0, 27 KOs) accepts Alan Picasso, 25, (32-0-1, 17 Kos) on December 27, 2025. The fight will headline the “Ring V: Night of the Samurai” event at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Inoue defends all four major titles (WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO) plus ‘The Ring’ magazine title. Picasso, who defeated undefeated Kyonosuke Kameda by majority decision in July 2025 to achieve this title, shot with Inoue. Lawrence Okolie, 33, (22-1, 16 Kos) won his last fight by technical knockout (TKO) against Ebenezer Tetteh, 37, (23-3, 20 Kos) on December 21, 2025 at the Onikan Stadium in Lagos, Nigeria. Tetteh retired to his stool at the end of the second round. Okolie called out the rising young power puncher Moses It will hurt after the fight to see who would challenge for a future world title. 52 year old heavyweight Ike Ibeabuchi (21-1, 16 Kos)who spent about twenty years in prison, suffered his first professional defeat in his second comeback fight against the 45-year-old Kabiru Towolawi (27-16, 22 Kos) via unanimous decision on December 24, 2025 in Lagos, Nigeria.
