Rate impact on aqua sector: GOVT. To form the panel to solve the problem, says CM

Assessment of the impact of the US tariff rise on the Aquaculture of the State, said main minister N. Mr. Naidu has tackled an assessment meeting on the subject in the secretariat and said that there are more than three Lakh Aqua farmers in the state and about 50 Lakh people were dependent on the industry, which contributes a large part of the GSDP.

He promised the farmers and exporters, who fear that the rate increase will give a big blow to the already rekers’ sector, that he will test the center of their concerns. He said he has already written a letter to the center and lists the problems that need to be urgently addressed.

The Aqua exporters also informed trade practices in countries such as Ecuador of the figure of the CM.

The cm told officials to take steps that prevent the price of 100-count shrimp falls below £ 220 per kg and said that he will discuss the observed benefits of forging free trade agreements with countries such as South Korea and the European Union with the center.
