Tyler Morton – Liverpool to Lyon (ÂŁ 13 million)
There was so much going on with Liverpool in the summer that it would have been extremely easy to miss the departure of Tyler Morton.
The midfielder ended his 15-year association with the Reds who joined the club as a seven-year-old, but never managed to secure a place in the first team, in which they achieved only 14 senior performances in the past two seasons.
It was inevitable that Morton would leave, especially after he said during the preseason that he needed more Gametime, with Premier League and Championship clubs that were interested in signing him.
It was then a big surprise that he moved to France instead and joins Lyon in a deal with a value of a maximum of ÂŁ 13 million including add-ons. Liverpool has inserted a 20 percent clause in the transfer.
