Revenue from operations grew 9.52 percent to Rs 2,238.74 crore in the September quarter of FY26. It stood at Rs 2,044.13 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.During the second quarter of FY26, cement sales volume remained stable at 4.40 million tonnes, the company said in an earnings statement.
“The lack of volume growth is due to early monsoon/excessive rainfall and the run-up to rationalization of GST rates,” it added.
The cement capacity utilization rate for the second quarter of FY26 stood at 71 percent as against 75 percent during the second quarter of FY25. The reason for the reduction in the cement capacity utilization rate during the second quarter of FY26 is due to the additional capacity aggregating at 1.3 MTPA created due to debottlenecking during the second quarter of FY25, the report said. The Ramco Cements’ total costs in the September quarter increased by 6.23 percent to Rs. 2,145.45 crore.
Total income, including other income, rose 9.3 percent to Rs 2,245.28 crore in the September quarter.
On the investments, The Ramco Cements said it “plans to achieve cement capacity of 30 MTPA by March 2026 with the commissioning of the second line at Kolimigondla, along with debottlenecking in existing facilities and adding milling capacities at existing locations with nominal investments”.
