Rabsky-Lied Group Scores $ 340 million for Gowanus Project

Sky Equity Group insured a loan of $ 340 million from Affinius Capital to refinance the remaining construction on a rental complex with several families in Gowanus.

Rabsky is one of the largest developers in Brooklyn and has recently been expanded to Florida with approvals for three buildings in Fort Lauderdale.

Two weeks ago, Affinius refinanced a $ 280 million loan on one of the most prominent film studios from New York City, Silvercup Studios, together with Hackman Capital Partners. The investment also offered a construction loan of $ 92 million for an apartment building in Fort Lauderdale in June and announced a preferred investment of $ 54.7 million in May in a development of several families in Los Angeles.

Steps of the Gowanus channel include 313 Bond Two buildings with 149 studios, 313 one bedrooms and 141 two bedrooms, with more than 50% of the units with private terraces. It also houses 51,600 square foot retail space on the ground floor.

The luxury development is one of the many that used a re -use in 2021 in Gowanus, who opened the door for 8,500 new homes.
