After comments on Tuesday from Jack Hughes that fans wondered about his future in New Jersey, and possibly with his brother Quinn somewhere, Vancouver Canucks captain Quinn Hughes the comments of his brother on Wednesday.
Saying that he had no problems with what Jack said, Quinn noticed that it was clear that brothers would like to play together if that was once an option.
He explained:
“I mean, he is my brother. What should he first say? Such as:” I don’t want to play with him: “Do you know? … We do have contracts. He is in another team. Would it be fun to play with those guys at some point? Of course. But we have things to do where we are.”
Quinn did not shot Jack’s comments that the brothers had spoken about about a day that joined forces. Quinn, however, was more pragmatic about the reality of that event and admitted that both brothers have things they want and have to do where they are.

Yet it is something on the table, at least one day.
“That is he authentic,” he said. Jack noted that conversations about playing together often take place. “They talk about it all day in Vancouver, you know? I would like to play with Quinn at some point.” Pierre Lebrun’s passing on those comments made fans wonder if Jack thought about leaving New Jersey and becoming a member of the Canucks. Because Luke Hughes also needs an expansion in sweater and rumors that he wants to time to match Jack’s deal, it seems that the family is in line to have as much leverage and flexibility as possible.
For now it’s just an idea.
Said Quinn”I am excited to be in Vancouver, and I feel that last year was a bit of failure. So I have the feeling that I have things to do there. And I know that Jack … loves Jersey, and he also has things to do.”
