14-16 Riverbend Ave, Carrara has sold in a $26 million deal.
A mystery buyer has splashed out $26 million for a luxury inner-city estate on the Gold Coast, boosting the strength of the city’s prestige market.
The showstopper property, known as Rivers Bend, comes with a long list of ultra-luxury amenities, including a swim-up bar, a rooftop terrace, a tennis court and an interior design reminiscent of a five-star resort.

The building is described as unique.
Leading real estate agent Michael Kollosche handled the mega sale, which sets a new suburb record in Carrara.
“Rivers Bend is one of those rare properties that defines what riverside living on the Gold Coast is all about, grand in scope, yet refined in every detail,” Mr Kollosche said.
“The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail in this estate is exceptional, and it is no surprise that it has attracted strong interest from qualified buyers, both local and interstate.”
“The sale reflects the continued strength of the prestigious Riverfront market and the demand for truly unique homes of this caliber,” he said.

The property from the river.
Mr. Kollosche remained tight-lipped about the identity of the buyer.
“Both buyer and seller are delighted with the result, which represents the highest price achieved for a riverside home on the Gold Coast this year,” he said.
Rivers Bend, which hit the market in July, is also the second highest sale on the Gold Coast this year, behind a beachfront home at 127 Hedges Ave, which sold for $27.5 million in September.
The estate includes a five-bedroom main residence, a two-bedroom guesthouse, two swimming pools, a swim-up bar, a cozy terrace, a rooftop pavilion and a tennis court, along with a gym and a pontoon.
Natalie Miller purchased the property in 2021 with a clear vision of the family home she wanted to create.
“I was inspired by the idea of a hidden estate – a sanctuary hidden behind walls,” she said.
“The entrance features the ‘Rivers Bend’ wall, which not only provides privacy, but also creates a sense of arrival. We had a clear picture from day one.”
The property is more reminiscent of a resort than a home.
Located on a private driveway lined with date palms, the main residence has grand proportions and a timeless, European-inspired design.
Accessed via a porte cochere, the house spans two floors and features formal and informal living spaces, with no expense spared on the property’s high-quality finishes.
From the Sovrano marble staircase with strip lighting and crystal chandelier to silk-blend carpets, hand-carved wooden cabinets and gilded accents, every element of the home has been carefully curated and thoughtfully considered.
Another area to entertain guests.
Downstairs is dedicated to living and entertaining, while the top floor features four extra-large bedrooms, including a palatial master suite with river views, a dressing room and a luxurious bathroom with an impressive 1.2-ton freestanding marble bath.
From the roof terrace to the outdoor living area, dedicated bar and open gazebo overlooking the river, the house also features a range of all-weather entertaining areas.
