PXG has added four new Lightning programs to the USGA -in accordance list of the MAX 10K, Max Lite, Tour Mid and Tour models unveiled in September 2025.
Although few details are known about the next generation PXG drivers other than information in the conforming list, the lighting models have been set to be the replacement for The Black Ops Driver series.
All Black OPS drivers have reached 10k MOI for the first time, but PXG has apparently made a switch to match their rival brands by expanding the range on lightning to offer a wider range of options.
The four launched models are the Lightning Max 10K for Ultimate Forgivence, the Lightning Max Lite for golfers with slower swant rates, the Lightning Tour Mid as an all-rounder and the Lightning Tour for Low-Spin options.

The Max 10K version of the Lightning is the flagship of PXG for maximum MOI and super high forgiveness and this model is transferred from the Black OPS series.

PXG Lightning Max Lite Driver Specs & Design
The Lightning Max Lite is a lighter variant of the max 10k and is designed for golfers with moderate to slow swing rates that need help with extracting the distance from the T-shirt.
PXG has reduced elements of the max 10k to save weight, with the only weights being removed from the Max Lite functions.

The result is a driver who focuses on lightweight performance with high MOI, which generates the maximum speed by the air for those who want an effortless launch – or need it.
The Max Lite, the next generation of the Black Ops Ultra Lite, is available in two loft options of 10.5 degrees and 11.5 degrees and has three degrees of adjustability.

The Tour Mid model of the Lightning series is the more standard of the two ‘Tour’ options and offers slightly more forgiveness than the Tour.
Very similar to the others in the series, this model has a lower launch and spin levels than the maximum options, but still has a lot of forgiveness to offer.

The Tour Mid has the two only weight gates, has a tweak for the internal weighting for improved stability and goals low to mid-handicap golfers who are looking for a blend effectiveness with forgiveness.
The Tour Mid Driver is available in 8 degrees, 9.5 degrees and 10.5 degrees loft options with three degrees of adjustability.
PXG Lightning Tour Driver Specs & Design
Designed for experienced players who are looking for precision, the Lighting Tour replaces the Black Ops Tour-1 model as the performer of the series on the series.
Aerodynamic design and a deep channel maximize the club head speed for players with fast, aggressive fluctuations.

The design again has the two adjustable only weights, but this model is all about low-spin and the delivery of a piercing ball flight for long distances.
The Tour driver is available in 8 degrees, 9 degrees and 10.5 degrees and can be adjusted with a maximum of three degrees.
