Trump supports Ukrainian land cession as part of the peace plan – report
After his meeting with Vladimir Putin on Friday, Donald Trump told the European leaders that he supported a plan to end the Ukraine-Russian war through invincible country to Russia, reported the New York Times, reference Two high European officials.
The officials said that Trump will discuss the plan with VolodyMyr Zenskyy on Monday when the Ukrainian president visits the White House, and added that European leaders were invited to participate.
Trump reports that support a potential land cession, marks a shift in Trump’s earlier requirements of an immediate discontinuation -the fire.
According to the New York Times, Trump believes that a peace agreement can be negotiated quickly, “as long as the Lord Zenskyy agrees to hand over the rest of the Donbas region to Russia, even those areas that are not occupied by Russian troops.”
Speaking to the outlet, high officials said that in exchange Putin, the fires offered the rest of Ukraine in the current combat lines and a written promise not to attack Ukraine or another European country.
