Russian President Vladimir Putin has told US President Donald Trump that he is ready to use Russia’s narrow partnership with Iran to help with negotiations about Iran’s nuclear program.
Earlier this week, after a phone call with Mr Putin, Mr. Trump said that the time was up for Iran to make a decision about the nuclear program.
The American president said his Russian counterpart agreed that the Islamic Republic should not have nuclear weapons.
Trump said that Mr Putin “might be useful to bring this to a quick conclusion.”

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Mr Putin “will be able to participate when needed.”
“We have close partner relationships with Tehran and of course President Putin said that we are ready to use this level of partnership with Tehran to facilitate the negotiations that take place to facilitate the issue of the Iranian nuclear file,” Peskov added.
The supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said on Wednesday the local time that leaving the enrichment of uranium was “100 percent” against the interests of the country.
He rejected a central American question in conversations to resolve dispute about the nuclear ambitions of Tehran for decades.
The American proposal for a new nuclear deal was presented to Iran on Saturday by Oman, who mediated conversations between the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and President Donald Trump’s Midden -East Envoy, Steve Witkoff.

In the same press conference, Mr Peskov confirmed that Russia would respond to the latest attacks of Ukraine when and when the army is needed.

Ukraine used drones to hit Russian heavy bomber aircraft on air bases in Siberia and the distant north at the weekend.

He said there was a general concept that such a meeting was needed, but it had to be well prepared.
The two did not discuss the possible lifting of sanctions against Russia.
