Russian President Vladimir Putin has a temporary cessation -the fires in Ukraine announced, the Kremlin said the local time on Saturday.
The Kremlin said it will stop -fires from 6 p.m. Moscow -will last on Saturday until midnight after Easter Sunday.
Mr Putin said that the decision to explain an “Easter height” was led by “humanitarian considerations”, according to the press service of the Kremlin.
“I order that all military actions for this period are stopped,” said Mr Putin during a meeting with Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov.
“We assume that the Ukrainian side will follow our example.
“At the same time, our troops must be ready to ward off possible violations of the armor and provocations of the enemy, all his aggressive actions.”

Ukrainian troops shed from the Kursk region, says Russia
The announcement came on the same day that the Russian Ministry of Defense said that his armed forces were pushing the Ukrainian troops of one of their last remaining foot cities in the Kursk region in Russia.
Russian troops took control of the village of Oslehnya, on the border with Ukraine, the ministry said.
The Associated Press could not immediately verify the claim and there was no immediate response from Ukrainian officials.
According to the Russian news agency Tass Tass, Russia is still fighting to push the Ukrainian troops from the village of Gornal, about 11 kilometers south of Osleshnya.
“The Russian army still has to push the Ukrainian armed forces out of gornal … to fully free the Kursk region,” the agency reported, stating the Russia security authorities.
“Fierce fighting is underway in the settlement.“
Russian and North Korean soldiers have almost robbed Kieve Kyiv of an important negotiating ship by reopening the majority of the region, where Ukrainian troops organized a surprise effort last year.

Claims of further Russian attacks
In other developments, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia 87 exploded drones and Lokvogels in the last wave of attacks at night until Saturday.
It said that 33 of them were intercepted and another 36 had been lost, probably electronically stalled.
