27 May 2025 (MLN): The Benchmark KSE-100 Index closed the trade session on Tuesday at 118,332.90, with an increase of 111.78 points or 0.09%.
The index traded in a range of 664.25 points with an intraday height of 118,807.92 (+586.80) and a low point of 118.143.67 (-77.45) points.
The total volume of the KSE-100 index was 414.61 million shares.
Of the 100 index companies, 52 are closed, 46 closed, while 2 were unchanged.
Top gainers during the day were PKGP (+6.77%), EFUG (+5.67%), KTML (+4.44%), JVDC (+4.39%) and Searl (+3.40%).
On the other hand, top losers were RMPL (-4.38%), Poml (-4.25%), BNWM (-3.64%), FHAM (-3.53%) and PSEL (-3.50%).
In terms of index point contributions, companies that set up the index (+68.86pts), SYS (+41.55pts), PKGP (+40.61pts), PPL (+36.91PTS) and DGKC (+35.52pts) were.
In the meantime, companies that dragged the index lower (-134.22pts), Hubc (-37.08pts), PSEL (-29.22pts), Engroh (-28.35pts) and MCB (-17.89pts).
With regard to sector, KSE-100 Index, cement (+112.48pts), oil and gas marketing companies (+40.46pts), technology and communication (+36.21PTS), oil and gas reconnaissance companies (+29.62pts) and power constraints and distribution).
While the index was abandoned by commercial banks (-60.20pts), Automobile Assembler (-38.41PTS), Miscellaneous (-25.45pts), inv. Banks / inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. (-22.40pts) and paper, board & packaging (-12.93pts).
In the wider market, the All-Share index closed at 73,957.69 with a net profit of 115.11 points or 0.16%.
The total market volume was 690.39 million shares compared to 635.54 million from the previous session, while the traded value was registered on RS23.83 billion with an increase in RS5.25 billion.
266,576 transactions were reported in 459 companies with 211 closure, 210 closure and 38 remain unchanged.
