Paramount Pictures’ account on X was apparently hacked on Tuesday Varietywith the biography “Proud Arm of the Fascist Regime,” amid the company’s bidding war with Netflix for control of Warner Bros.

The hack of the account, which has 3.4 million followers, follows a report from The Wall Street Journal So said Paramount CEO David Ellison, who offered the Trump administration assurances that if his company Warner Bros. would buy, he would make “major changes to CNN,” a news channel Trump has targeted for years.
Trump has told close associates that he wants new ownership at CNN, in addition to changes to the news channel’s programming, the Journal added.
