Prospect News: Jeremiah’s Journey of Pinckney and the Pain

Rays LHP Ian Seymour Made his first career start on Monday after spending about six weeks in the Bullpen. He only allowed two baserunners through five Shutout-Inings, which brought his season-hose Era to 3.18 with a 1.02 Whip. At the age of 26 with a good control of a change-fast-up Arsenal, he has a great opportunity to lock up a rotation place for the stretchrun, and because he is under a Rookie contract, he could look ideal for this front office as a cheap rotary piece for 2026 and then. He also gives this team several Seymours. Good visibility income.

Orioles of Jeremiah Jackson Has been traveling in recent years, from Los Angeles to New York to Baltimore, and he picked up some lessons along the way. His strikeout percentages for his last four stops are 33.1, 25.5, 16.4 and 11.7 in 40 Triple-A matches this season. Oh and he is 21.9 percent to 21 games with Baltimore, and cuts .324/.342/.451 with one home run. It is not very logical for the team to save space for money found at the moment in his build, but this is how the Orioles work, and I would not be surprised at all if this is the start of something useful for our game.

Would probably have to mention something on this Mets RHP Jonah Tong will be promoted to debut for New York on Friday. Prepare your popcorn. This is what I wrote about tongue on Sunday in Prospect News: Stash List #10: The Tong Show of Quinn the Zone:

“Simply put, I think tongue is one of the best five starting pitchers in this organization at the moment. Perhaps they will find no way to fit it in the rotation. He has 107.2 Innings over 21 starts after throwing 113 innings last year, so he can be after the end of his season you will fall the first two starts of the season. Most of the season is ready for the next level “

The Cincinnati Reds have long enjoyed an abundance of options for Infield Spots, but it starts to look as if they should limit and give it 3B Sal Stewart (21, AAA) A good long glance. His path became complicated when the Reds Ke’brayan Hayes took over and then further complicated by the fact that Hayes hit the ground in his new house, a much cozy place for right -handed battles than Pittsburgh. They would probably have to bring that crazy left-center gate into a few feet, but that would cost money, so. . . Anyway, back to Sal Stewart. He cuts .323/.399/.653 with nine home runs and four steals through 33 triple-a games, and his plate skills have been excellent: an 11.2-to-16.1 percent walk to Strikeout. Spencer Steer has yielded a pretty bad performance at first base, so maybe that is the path for Stewart.

If you arrive late in the season, it is fairly easy to notice a man Twins of Kyler Fedko (25, AAA) Because he has 26 home runs and 33 stolen base. A 12th round pick from UConn in 2021, Fedko will have to earn every chance he gets, and he has set it up a notch because a few places opened after the Trade Deadline, with .333/.416/.621 with six home runs and seven stolen bases cuts in August 21. James Outman plays almost every day, mixes where he is needed about the outfield, and the team does not have a stack -inspiring options to sort, but I will keep this guy on some watch lists and add it if he gets a chance.

Nationals of Andrew Pinckney (24, AAA) is a different kind of non-announced man who now goes through a glow-up. Pinckney was a fourth round from Alabama in 2023 and has been steadily advanced by the levels and has his best rack as a professional about his last month plus in Triple-A, who shoots 11 home runs and .310 with six stolen bases over his last 32 games. He still stands out considerably (28.7 percent compared to that piece), but Washington is not really in position to keep it up for perfection.

Diamondbacks from Ryan Waldschmidt (22, AA) is steadily marching by the system and could close the 2025 season with a month in Triple-A. Through 50 games in Double-A he cuts .290/.413/.492 with seven home runs and 14 stolen base, good for a 140 WRC+, and he has been even better after the last few weeks, hit .441 with six gay people and five steals through his last 16 games. Not much more to prove at the level.
