Tonight’s UFC Perth event was led by an important light heavyweight matchup with Carlos Ulberg who is taking on Dominick Reyes.
Reyes (15-5 MMA) was in the game with a three-fighter-winning streak, with his most earlier victory that came again on the first round Knockout Nikita Krylov (see that here). Prior to that triumph, ‘The Devastator’ came from a TKO victory on a colleague -Far UFC title -Uitdager Anthony Smith.
In the meantime, Carlos Ulberg (13-1 MMA) returned to action for the first time since beating the first Ultimate Fighting Championship Title holder Jan Bachowicz through unanimous decision last March. Prior to that victory, ‘Black Jag’ Volkan Ozdemir had defeated, also by decision.
Tonight’s UFC Perth Main event turned out to be a coming match for Carlos Ulberg. After surpassing his opponent in the beginning, ‘Black Jag’ was able to connect in the last minute to a check -hook that Dominick Reyes collapsed to the Canvas. From there, Ulberg followed with a huge right hand on the ground that sent ‘the destroyer’ in the shady. It was a statement victory for Ulberg, one that now has many fans and analysts who call him to receive a title shot next time.
