Private Jet goes off the run and falls into the house, luckily without hurting anyone – Jalopnik

A resident of Kentucky received an unexpected visitor when a plane collapsed in the side of her house, reports KFVS 12. Fortunately no one seems to have been injured in the crash; The woman in the house was fine, just like the pilot, who was the only person on board the plane. Many plane crashes are total disasters, even with small aircraft, but sometimes people escape relatively unharmed.

Details are currently blurry if the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are still investigating what this crash has caused, but the Graves County Sheriff’s Office Has this to say:

Provisional reports indicate that the plane had landed and that the pilot was unable to stop the plane at the end of the runway. The plane went through a grassy area, through a circumference, over KY 58, and then in a living structure. The house was occupied by the resident, but she was not injured.

Photos of the Sheriff office show the fence of the chain link the plane that dragged behind it. According to Google MapsThe exceeding area offered a buffer of about 600 feet between the end of the runway and the highway 58. A row of houses lies behind it, of which there was a house where the plane crashed.

It could have been a lot worse

While he rolled over the grass, the pilot was probably not on an iPad and it was possible to turn right to avoid the house, or at least to prevent a direct impact. The nose of the plane is intact, which is probably the reason why the pilot escaped without injury. It seems that the left wing touches the house instead, with the shock that causes stones on the side and the rear corner of the house to fall off. We don’t have a good picture of the impact point or what happened to the left wing. We also see no proof of a fire after the crash, which is excellent news for all involved.

According to Faa -recordsThe plane is a Cessna 525c 2013, a Twin-Motor Business Jet. It is registered with StoneCrest Capital, LLC, Van South Fulton, Tennessee. The aircraft is currently not available for public tracking FlightawareWhat is logical, given the current crash research, so we don’t know how it originated at Mayfield-Graves County Airport.
