Merrimack will take the road this weekend for his second FBS matchup of the season and travels to Kennesaw State. The Warriors enter the weekend on 1-1 last Saturday after handling Saint Anselm.
Their only loss was on the opening weekend, a narrow 21-17 defeat against Kent State-Hun other FBS-opponent that showed that Merrimack could hang with competition with a higher division. Merrimack had a lead halfway through the fourth quarter before the flashes brought back a staircase for a touchdown to take the lead.
From what I can see, no Sportsbook has posted a rule for this game from this writing, but I doubt that the Warriors would be more than a 7-point underdog. Kennesaw State has confronted with fierce competition – Indiana and Wake Forest – but Merrimack held his game within a touchdown in Kent State. And although Kennesaw State is better on paper than State knows, it is not a dramatic step further.
The owls went 2-10 last season, with victories over Fiu and Liberty. Both victories were concluded with a combined four points, so even those were nail bits.
This season they lost from Wake Forest 10-9 and were blown out by no. 23/21 Indiana last week, 56-9.
Kennesaw State also lost 24-13 to FCS-opponent UT Martin last year, a result that emphasizes the vulnerability of the owls.
If lines are posted, my bet is that the Warriors would be underdogs on the road, but only somewhat-in-reach of 4-6 points. Based on how they played against Kent State and last week against Saint Anselm, I would be inclined to take the points.

The defense of Merrimack has been dominant against the run by two games, allowing only 2.6 meters per Carry and 74 Yards per match.
Much of the credit belongs to the line of defense of the Warriors. Merrimack arrives at number 7 in the FCS in hasty defense during the weekend, no. 11 in defensive first downs, no. 3 in red zone defense and no. 9 in team bags and proof of his disturbing front.
Tip of the cap for players such as Kendal Sims” RJ Chapman” Rajahn Cooper” DJ Frazier” Garry Rose Memond Jr. And JSON Compoh (among other things) to set the tone defensive.

The game is played in the fifth third stadium of Kennesaw State, one of the most distinctive locations in Division I.
With a capacity of only 10,200, the smallest stadium in the FBS is. Originally built as a football -specific location, it still organizes football and rugby next to football, giving it a different feeling than most football environments of universities.
Kick -off: 18:00
TV/stream: ESPN+
City: Kennesaw, go.
Location: Fifth third stadium (Cap. 10,200)
