Our Premier League team of the week is celebrating the best artists of the weekend, with names of Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City and Bournemouth.
Goalkeeper: Senne Lammens – Manchester United
A solid debut for the Big Belgian, who can end Manchester United Hope, can put an end to their keepers. Lammens went over to palpate Granit Xhaka’s fierce hit and did well to save Chemsdine Talbi. In between, he barked out orders and did the basic brilliant. It sounds simple, but it has been rare of keepers at Old Trafford of recent times.

Center-back: Malick Thiaw-Newcastle United
Athletic and so comfortable in possession, Malick Thiaw has already won admirers in Newcastle. In addition to Sven Botman against Nottingham Forest, ThiaW won six defensive duels, completed 91% of his passes and created one chance. He looks like a smart addition.
Center-Back: Ruben Dias-Manchester City
The good guided, because Manchester City won a hard -fought victory in Brentford. The defender of Portugal has confronted with some criticism, but the citizens are a more solid unity with him in the ranks. Brentford hardly gave Brentford a pinch, despite the threat of Kevin’s pace damage.
Rúben Dias’ Game by Numbers vs. Brentford:
112 touches
92/95 accurate steps
12 fit in the last third part
7 duels won
5 clearance
4 interceptions

Center-back: Ladislav krejci wolves
Krejci seems to be an excellent signature for Wolves and continues with his September club player of the month with a strong start until October. He trickled trust in the ball against Brighton with rake distribution and is defensively healthy. Waiting for a victory continues, but this was a step in the right direction for wolves.
Midfield: Moises Caicedo – Chelsea
Gary Neville called Moises Caicedo ‘the best player on the field with a mile’ in Chelsea’s victory over Liverpool and it is difficult to disagree. The Ecuadorian was covered everywhere at Stamford Bridge in a fighting performance with a wild blow to open the score. He evolves towards a complete midfielder.
Moises Caicedo has scored more Premier League goals in the first seven games of 2025/26 (3) than combined in the previous two seasons (2 in 73 games).

Midfield: Sandro Tonali – Newcastle United
Simply drives Newcastle further. There are sections outside the northeast that still have to appreciate how good this man is. Tonali is a phenomenal football player and usually covered almost every blade of grass in the 2-0 victory of the club over Nottingham Forest. Bruno Guimaraes had the highlight moments, but Tonali was the best player on the field.
Midfield: Mason Mount – Manchester United
Provided why he is a favorite of Ruben Amorim. Intelligent in the structure, diligently out of possession, and tactically adapted to adapt to a flexible and a lot of discussion. Mount has had a hard time at Manchester United, but this was one of his better afternoons. Took the opener against Sunderland excellent.
Right: Mohammed Kudus-Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs took a bit of a risk to sign kudus after a ‘down’ season in West Ham, but the Ghanaese has had an immediate impact. Kudus was central to the 2-1 victory of the club at Leeds and recorded his fourth assist of the campaign after he had released Mathys Tel for the deflected opener. After Leeds was the same, Kudus thought the perfect time for his Maiden Spurs strike. He benefited from a mistake, he came in and shot in a low finish to close the points.
Left-Wing: Antoine Semenyo-Bournemouth
Simply electric. Semenyo now seems too fast, too strong and too good for full-backs from opposition and fulham tortured on a beautiful night for Bournemouth. He scored twice and created the other in the 3-1 victory of the Cherries, a victory that brought the side of Andoni Iraola to the Champions League places.
Bournemouth lost serious talent in the summer, but keeping Semenyo was the key.

Forward: Donyell Malen – Aston Villa
Despite flying in the preseason, Malen had to weaken its time in Aston Villa again this season. At only his second start of the campaign, the Dutchman scored both goals to help Unai Emery’s side with Burnley.
Two quality finization of a player who can help to alleviate Villa’s goals.

Forward: Erling Haaland – Manchester City
Nine competition goals for the season and count for Erling Haaland, which cannot be stopped now. The pace, the power and the agility to dismiss an early winner in Brentford were typical of a center-forward that is the complete goal package. The golden boot is probably a man of one horses at this pace.
