Goalkeeper: Djordje Petrovic – Bournemouth
Earned a much-needed clean sheet as Bournemouth won at Wolves. The Serbian shot-stopper made seven saves at Molineux, including a point-blank save against Tolu Arokodare.
Centre-back: Kristoffer Ajer – Brentford
A brilliant performance from Brentford keeps the club’s dream of European football alive. Despite Kevin Schade’s stupid red card before half-time, Brentford battled to a 1-0 win at Aston Villa, the club’s first ever away win at Villa Park.
Kristoffer Ajer was great for the Bees, blocking three shots and winning 100% of his aerial battles (3/3).
Absolutely immense today 🏆

Center back: Ibrahima Konate – Liverpool
After a period of absence following the death of his father, there was an emotional return to Anfield for Ibrahima Konate.
The Frenchman was excellent defensively with 10 goals and scored a deserved goal late on to seal the victory. The outpouring of emotions that followed was one of the moments of the Premier League weekend.
Center back: Gabriel – Arsenal
A magnet as Leeds repeatedly pumped balls into the penalty area, Gabriel met everything the home side threw at him at Elland Road.
The big Brazilian scored ten times and won ten defensive duels in a dominant line-up. Put his body on the line to deny Dominic Calvert-Lewin shortly after half-time.
Midfield: Enzo Fernandez – Chelsea
Influential in Chelsea’s comeback win against West Ham. The Blues recovered from a dreadful opening period to keep their Champions League chase alive, with Fernandez at center stage. He drove Liam Rosenior’s side forward and showed up late for the dramatic winner.

It is now eight Premier League goals for the season for Fernandez, just one short of the total he scored in his first two-and-a-half seasons at the club.
Midfield: Alex Scott – Bournemouth
Thomas Tuchel is clearly a fan of Alex Scott after handing the Bournemouth midfielder an England call-up in November, and more performances of this quality could see Scott break into the World Cup squad.
He was the standout performer against Wolves, leading his Bournemouth teammates for possession won (9), duels won (8) and tackles (3), while netting the second goal at Molineux.
Midfield: Florian Wirtz – Liverpool
Those who were quick to write off Florian Wirtz at Liverpool may now be on their way back.
The German has recovered from a difficult transition in recent weeks and was central to Liverpool’s 4-1 win over Newcastle. A goal, assist and increasingly better connection with Hugo Ekitike are all positive signals for Arne Slot.

Winger: Noni Maduest – Arsenal
Bukayo Saka’s late withdrawal gave Madueke an unexpected start at Leeds, and he delivered well.
The Arsenal winger was untouchable at times at Elland Road and scored the first two goals with two fantastic goals. There was a lot of talk about his fee in the summer, but Madueke is proving to be an astute asset.

Winger: Amad Diallo – Manchester United
Amad Diallo always gave his all as a wing-back under Ruben Amorim, but he is certainly enjoying a bigger life further down the line in the new regime. The Ivorian covered every blade of grass in a real live performance against Fulham, giving Antonee Robinson a torrid time.
Really should have gotten at least one assist, with some wasteful finishing on his deliveries.
Forward: Dominic Solanke – Tottenham Hotspur
Led Spurs’ second-half battle against Manchester City after a quiet first half. Solanke’s hustle helped Marc Guehi force a controversial own goal, before a moment of magic from the striker saw him kick a Spurs-level goal.
One of the goals of the season.

Forward: Hugo Ekitike – Liverpool
Hugo Ekitike was one who left for Newcastle in the summer when Liverpool signed the Frenchman from Eintracht Frankfurt. Ekitike has made an immediate impact, putting his former suitors to the sword with an impressive brace this weekend.
There was more than just the blond hair reminiscent of Fernando Torres as he stepped forward and poked past Nick Pope for his second goal. A thoroughly impressive debut season in the Premier League continues.
