It only took six weeks, but Ange Postecoglou established records in Nottingham Forest; The Greek-Australian is the first head coach who won none of his first six games in 100 years.
The last man who did that was John Baynes in 1925, who could not win any of his opening of seven games as a manager. Baynes led the team for another four years, but Postecoglou may not go further than the international break if the difficult trees of Newcastle United lose.

After they fell to beat against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in midweek, Forest has now gone a total of eight games without a victory, their last victory on the opening day against Brentford.
Postecoglou, whose last victory in management returned in May when Spurs lifted the Europa League trophy, has already lost the fan base. Proponents could hear on Thursday “You will be fired in the morning” on the city.
Ange remains in situ for the time being, but Time claim that his job “under threat” will come if his Winless Run continues this weekend.

Arsenal has to put an end to West Ham Hoodoo
Fun fact: Arsenal has not defeated West Ham United on their home patch since December 2022, where the Hamers come the victor from each of their last two trips to the Emirates Stadium.
The side of Nuno Espirito Santo can only be the second team that three consecutive Premier League matches wins against Arsenal, after Manchester City had defeated them six (!) Times in a row between 2018 and 2023.
It is difficult to imagine that West Ham is doing this, considering how bad they played this season, although they looked much more organized in the first game of the new manager who earned a 1-1 draw last week at Everton.
And yet, Arsenal is falling points against opposition that they should really insist (according to the play of words) has paid their title ambitions in recent years. A victory here should not be rejected as unimportant, since they can jump Liverpool for at least a few hours and possibly in the coming weeks before Liverpool if the Reds points fall on Chelsea.
