Rawal is recovering from a horrific ankle injury sustained during India’s final competitive match at the 2025 Women’s World Cup, where she slipped on a wet pitch in Navi Mumbai. The setback forced her to miss the semi-finals and finals, ending what had been a breakout campaign. She had scored 308 runs in six innings at the tournament, including a century against New Zealand.
