Popular social media creator Kristy Scott has filed for divorce from her husband, Desmond Scott, alleging infidelity.

The filing, filed in December 2025 in Texas, seeks to dissolve the couple’s marriage after more than a decade together. The divorce petition cites alleged infidelity as the reason for the failure of the marriage. American weekly reported. The court documents contain no public details detailing the alleged conduct.

Kristy Scott and Desmond Scott built a large following as a married couple by sharing family-oriented content on social media platforms including Instagram and TikTok. Their videos highlighted their quirky relationship dynamics, parenting, cooking and their daily lives, helping them build a collective online brand over several years.

Kristy Scott has almost 17 million followers on TikTok. Desmond, a chef, has 1.5 million followers on TikTok.

The couple met as teenagers and married in 2014. They share two children. The Scotts have continued to post content together until the end of 2025, without any indication trouble in paradise prior to submission. Their latest TikTok video showed the couple side by side with a trending sound on the platform, just 21 days before the divorce was filed.

The file states that reconciliation is no longer realistic. Neither Kristy Scott nor Desmond Scott have publicly commented on the divorce filing. Kristy continues to create content, with her children (who remain anonymous), her glamorous clothes and recently, her robot dog.

At the time of publication, there have been no rulings regarding child custody, support arrangements, or the division of shared business interests. The case is still in its early stages and no hearings are scheduled.

The Scotts’ joint brand included sponsored content and media projects developed during their marriage. It was not immediately clear how these ventures would be handled as the divorce progressed.

The case adds to a growing number of problematic content creation divorces. Another black TikTok creator, SewRena, who has more than 300,000 followers, is now tell her story about alleged sabotage by her husband after her divorce. SewRena spoke about the theft of her stove by her soon-to-be ex-husband. Since her content revolves around vintage design, clothing and lifestyle, the vintage stove featured heavily in her videos.

SewRena says its actions stem from “jealousy” of its platform. Unlike the Scotts, SewRena’s husband did not appear in her content. In follow-up videos, the creator has also stated that she will soon have to leave the vintage home that she has lovingly restored and decorated. Like Kristy, a pivot is necessary.
