PM Modi to meet NDA MPS: What is the most important agenda?

This NDA parliamentary party meeting will be planned at a crucial moment, only two days prior to the opening of the nominations for the vice-president elections, to start on August 7.

Because the NDA has a clear majority in the Kiescollege, the selection of his vice-presidential candidate is expected to be a formality. However, the Alliance is expected to close his candidate and will announce by 21 August, the last date for submitting nominations, tailored to the end of the current session.

PM Modi will be honored during the meeting, in particular for the success of Operation Sindoor, a mission for the fight against terrorism that is launched in the aftermath of the recent terror attack of Pahalgam. The prime minister’s address is expected to tackle this critical operation, the security challenges of the country and various current political issues that dominate parliamentary discourse.

The monsoon session has so far been largely disturbed, with the opposition that continuous protests organizes, in particular in relation to the special intensive revision of the election committee (SIR) of election roles in Bihar. The opposition claims that the revision exercise is politically motivated and biased in favor of the ruling party.

It is expected that PM modes will also respond to these accusations, re -confirms the government’s position on the election process and draw up the NDA’s legislative priorities for the rest of the session.
