The 2026 Players Championship kicks off this week at the iconic TPC Sawgrass in Florida. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the PGA Tour’s flagship tournament, including a full Players Championship TV schedule, streaming information and full start times for the first and second rounds.
How to watch Players Championship
This week’s tournament represents the biggest PGA Tour event of the season, along with the biggest purse in golf. Whoever walks away with the trophy at TPC Sawgrass on Sunday will earn a whopping $4.5 million from the massive $25 million Players Championship purse.
The top two golfers in the field and in the official world golf rankings are getting top billing this week, and for good reason. The last time someone not named Rory McIlroy or Scottie Scheffler won the Players was in 2022.
Last year, McIlroy took home his second Players title, a month before winning his first green jacket at the Masters. Before that, Scheffler won back-to-back in 2023 and 2024.
However, McIlroy and Scheffler are not the only stars in the field. This year’s Players feature perhaps the strongest field in all of golf. Among those in danger of winning are two-time major champions Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele, as well as resurgent stars Rickie Fowler and Jordan Spieth.
